This graduate collection is exploring natural and manmade formations and their structures.
The final outcome of this project is three looks consisting of innovative, contemporary, technical garments for womenswear. Each look features an engineered technical element; breathability, water resistant, lightweight, durable or thermal comfort, to create this urban inspired, technical but casual sportswear range. My aim is to develop futuristic, urban inspired garments for the sports luxe market, alongside this will be a range of sophisticated and highly technical fabric as part of an accompanying collection. I am looking at the bodies movement and work with this to look at placement of particular techniques and surface finishes. I intend to blend the technicality of sportswear garments with the fashion sensibility of a street-wear collection.
